Polling
Polling is the frequency that CMS systems electronically health check to monitor if the Alarm system is active and communicating correctly. If polling fails, CMS will immediately call you and report communications are not being received.
Primary IP
The Alarm system will use your Internet connection as the primary method of transmitting communications to CMS. If no Internet connection is available, the Alarm system will automatically switch to SINGLE GPRS for transmissions.
Single GPRS
The Alarm system will transmit communications using one nominated carrier using a SINGLE VPN GPRS connection; either the Optus or Telstra secure network can be selected.
Dual GPRS
The Alarm system will transmit communications using a DUAL VPN GPRS connection, automatically selecting the best signal from the Optus or Telstra secure network.
Supervised
CMS Monitor the ARMING and DISARMING time of the Alarm and notify you immediately of any variation to the agreed schedule.
Link CMS Alarm monitoring With Your Choice of
Security Guard Dispatch Services.
When a crime occurs, time is of the essence. Having a qualified security guard onsite can help minimise any damages.
At the first sign of alarm activation, CMS operators will reduce the risk to your premise by immediately dispatching a patrol vehicle to your site.
Your documented instructions in the security monitoring database will be followed precisely by the CMS operators and guards.
