Generating a Date Based Report
for your Access Control System
The following guide describes how you can generate an Access Control System Report to analyse system usage for a particular date, or period.
This kind of report will be limited by a start and end date, and if desired, can be further limited by a department and or a single user.
Downloading Records from the Access Control Panel.
Before you can generate a report from the access control system, you must first download any updated records from the access control panel, to the access control software.
To do this,
1) Open the Access Control Software and Log in.
2) Click on the "Basic Operate" Drop Down menu at the top of the screen,
3) Select the "Download" menu option from the drop down menu.
4) The access control panel status screen will now be displayed.
5) Click on the "SELECT ALL" Panels button located at the top right of the panel status screen. This will highlight all the available access control panels for your system.
6) Press the DOWNLOAD button located at the top of the the panel status screen.
7) The software will now prompt you if you wish to proceed with the download.
8) Click on the [YES] button to begin downloading the latest event information from the access control panel.
9) Once the download has completed, you can continue on to the next step of creating your access control report.
Creating a User / Card Based Access Control Report
The following guide describes how you can generate an Access Control System Report to analyse system usage for a particular date, or period.
This kind of report will be limited by a start and end date, and if desired, can be further limited by a department and or a single user.
1) Open the Access Control Software and Log in.
2) Click on the "Basic Operate" Drop Down menu at the top of the screen,
3) Select the "Query Card Records" menu option from the drop down menu.
4) The search access control panel records screen will now be displayed.
5) Select "Event Time" in the FROM field.
6) Select "Event Time" in the TO field.
NOTE : Steps 5) and 6) will ensure that the start and end date fields are available.
7) Select the required start date for the report by clicking on the FROM Date field. Once you have clicked this field, a calender date selection box will be displayed.

9) If required, select the desired department for the report by clicking on the department drop down, and selecting a department, otherwise leave this field as ALL.
10) If required, select the desired user that you wish to limit this report to.
If you do not wish to limit this report to a single user, leave this field as ALL.
11) Click on the Query button to begin executing the query, and view the results.
