Arming the Panel


1) Ensure that the Green LED Segment is illuminated.
This indicates that all the zones for the alarm panel have been closed.
2) Enter a valid user code.
3) Press the [ENTER] Button.
4) The Keypad will begin beeping, to indicate that the exit delay has commenced.
5) Once Armed the (A) (B) or (C) LED / LCD Segment will now illuminate,
this indicates that Area A, B or C has been Armed.

Disarming the Panel


1) Enter a valid user code.
2) Press the [ENTER] button.
3) The (A) LED / LCD Segment will extinguish when the panel is disarmed.
4) If the keypad emits a long beep, the user code was rejected.

Bypassing (Switching Off) Zones on Arming


Manual Bypass Programming allows you to program the alarm system to ignore (deactivate) specified zones the next time the system is armed.
For example, you may wish to bypass certain zones when workers are renovating part of your establishment.
Please note that a Fire Zone cannot be bypassed.

1) Press the [BYPASS] Button.
2) The (Ready Byp) and Indicators will Illuminate.
3) Select the Zone(s) that you wish to bypass by pressing the Zone Numbers.
4) Zones that have been bypassed will Illuminate.
5) Press the [ENTER] button to Save the Bypassed zone entry.
6) The (Ready Byp) Segment will Illuminate, and the selected zones will be bypassed next time the system is armed.
NOTE : To un-bypass a zone, simply repeat the above procedure.

Force Arming the alarm


There is no way of force arming the alarm system.
Force arming allows you to rapidly arm the system without waiting for all zones in the system to close.
During Force arming, a Force zone is considered "deactivated" until it closes, after which the system will arm that zone.
Force arming is commonly used when a motion detector is protecting the area occupied by a keypad.
For example, when arming the system from within a Force zone, the system will allow you to arm even if the zone is open, and the system will arm the zone once it closes.

Home (Stay) Arming the alarm


This method allows you to remain in the protected area while partially arming the system.
Stay zones are zones that are bypassed when Stay arming.
For example, when you go to sleep at night, doors and windows can be armed without arming other zones like motion detectors.

1) Press the [STAY] button.
2) Enter a valid user code.
3) Press the [ENTER] key.
4) The exit delay will commence and the keypad will beep during the exit delay time.
5) The (A), (B) or (C) LED / LCD Segment will now flash, Indicating the Area is home armed.
6) If the keypad emits a long beep, the user code was rejected.

Viewing the Alarm Memory


The Crow Power Wave Alarm Systems can store 127 Events in its memory.
To display the zones have been triggered, or alarm messages
1) Press the [MEMORY] Button
2) Press the [MEMORY] Button a second time
3) the zones that have been triggered will Be displayed on the keypad.

Viewing User Codes


Using the Master Mode.
To change user access codes, you will first require the Master code.
1) Press the [PROGRAM] button
2) Enter the master code. (Default code is 123)
3) Press the [ENTER] button
4) The (PROGRAM) LED/LCD Segment will be on, indicating that you are in User programming mode.
5) If a long beep was heard, it indicates that your Master Code was rejected.
6) Press the [PROGRAM] Button Again.
7) Enter the User number you wish to view (User 1=Master, 2 to 50 are Users).
8) Press the [ENTER] Button.
9) If a user code already exists for the selected user, it will be displayed.
10) To EXIT Programming, press the [PROGRAM] button, then press the [ENTER] button.

Example : To View User 2 code you would press the following keys in sequence.
Press [PROGRAM]
Enter the Master code
Press [ENTER]
The (Program) Segment should now be on.
Press [PROGRAM]
Press [2] 2
Press [ENTER]
The Code Entered for user 2 will be displayed
press [PROGRAM] then [ENTER] to exit programming.

Changing User Codes

2) Enter the master code. (Default code is 123)
3) Press the [ENTER] button
4) The (PROGRAM) LED/LCD Segment will be on, indicating that you are in User programming mode.
5) If a long beep was heard, it indicates that your Master Code was rejected.
6) Press the [PROGRAM] Button Again.
7) Enter the User number you wish to change (User 1=Master, 2 to 50 are Users).
8) Press the [ENTER] Button.
9) If a user code already exists for the selected user, it will be displayed.
10) Enter the new User Code for the selected User. (Code can be 3 to 6 digits long).
11) Press the [ENTER] Button to save the new code.
12) Once completed, Three beeps will be heard, and the New Code will be displayed in sequence.
13) To change more user codes, repeat steps 6) to 11)
14) To EXIT Programming, press the [PROGRAM] button, then press the [ENTER] button.

Example : To change User 2 code to 0351 you would press the following keys in sequence.
Press [PROGRAM]
Enter the Master code
Press [ENTER]
The (Program) Segment should now be on.
Press [PROGRAM]
Press [2] 2
Press [ENTER]
Enter the New user code for User 2 [0][3][5][1]
Press [ENTER]
Three Beeps should be heard.
press [PROGRAM] then [ENTER] to exit programming.

Chime Zones


This feature allows you to toggle the chime mode On or Off
A Chime-enabled zone will advise you every time it is opened by causing your keypad to emit a rapid intermittent beep tone (BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP).
Chime zones must be programmed by the alarm installer.
To activate the chime mode.
Press the [Control] button, then press the [Program] button.
To disable chime mode.
Press the [Control] button, then press the [Program] button.

Alarm Trouble Codes


If a system fault has been detected, the Indicator will illuminate.
Trouble codes, and System Messages are all displayed using the [MEMORY] button.
To display trouble codes, press the [MEMORY] button.
The LED/LCD Segment will Illuminate.
Leds 1 through to 8 will display the actual system trouble code.
To exit, press the [ENTER] button.
1 : Battery Low
2 : Mains Failure
3 : Telephone Line Failure
4 : Radio Detector (PIR/Sensor) Battery Low
5 : Wireless Transmitter (Remote Control) Battery Low
6 : Supervised Detector Failure
7 : Zone Inactivity Timeout
8 : Dialler Kiss Off Failure
NOTE : Pressing the [MEMORY] button again will display the system operations log.
This can further be used to determine roughly when a fault occured.

Setting the Time


If the alarm panel has lost power, it may require the system time and date to be set.
1) Press the [PROGRAM] button
2) Enter the master code. (Default code is 123)
3) Press the [ENTER] button
4) The (PROGRAM) LED/LCD Segment will be on, indicating that you are in User programming mode.
5) If a long beep was heard, it indicates that your Master Code was rejected.
6) Press the [PROGRAM] Button Again.
7) Enter [8][2][3].
8) Press the [ENTER] Button.
9) Enter the Day of the week as a digit (Sunday=1, Monday=2, Saturday=7) 10) Press the [ENTER] Button to save the day of the week setting.
11) Press the [PROGRAM] Button Again.
12) Enter [8][2][4].
13) Press the [ENTER] Button.
14) Enter the current Hour tens digit (Eg for 21:30, enter [2]),
15) Enter the current Hour ones digit (Eg for 21:30, enter [1]),
16) Enter the current Minute tens digit (Eg for 21:30, enter [3]),
17) Enter the current Minute ones digit (Eg for 21:30, enter [0]),
18) Press the [ENTER] Button to save the time.
19) To EXIT Programming, press the [PROGRAM] button, then press the [ENTER] button.

Testing the system


Walk Test Mode
Walk test mode allows the user to check every zone to see if it is operating.
Once the system is placed in walk test mode, the keypad will beep every second,
and every zone that is triggered will be displayed on the keypad.
To enable Walk test Mode.
1) Press the [PROGRAM] button
2) Enter the master code. (Default code is 123)
3) Press the [ENTER] button
4) The (PROGRAM) LED/LCD Segment will be on, indicating that you are in User programming mode.
5) If a long beep was heard, it indicates that your Master Code was rejected.
6) Press the [PROGRAM] Button Again.
7) Enter [8][3][6].
8) Press the [ENTER] Button.
Walk Test Mode will now be enabled.
To disable Walk test Mode.
1) Press the [ENTER] Button to stop the keypad beeping, and to clear the zone logging.
2) To EXIT Programming, press the [PROGRAM] button, then press the [ENTER] button.
